Medicinal Herb Garden

This work presents the medicinal herbs used in the community, being inserted as methodological tools for teaching chemistry, showing how the active principles of medicinal herbs can be used to illustrate topics in Organic Chemistry, as well as promoting the connection between science and popular culture.Medicinal herbs have been used for millennia as a source of healing and well-being. In this book, we will explore the medicinal herb garden and its therapeutic effects, ways of preparing teas and practical workshops aimed at teaching chemistry, with the aim of demystifying their use and promoting scientific literacy.
