Metamorphosis: Poems of Farewell and Transformation

Metamorphosis is the compilation of poems of farewell and transformation that were written over a period of 11 years by Claudia González Burguete. This compilation includes the poem that Claudia wrote in 2014 as homage to the death of a close relative and from that the idea of this book was inspired by the thoughts of farewell of all the people and places that have left a permanent mark in her life. Metamorphosis includes 24 poems which depict the adventures, the disillusions and frustration that a person goes through while enjoying life. Metamorphosis has happy poems, sad poems, but overall poems to dream of. Metamorphosis owes its inspiration the farewells depict in these poems are from love that transcendent on her life, from friends that left before time, and from family that left without her saying goodbye. Also the transformation that one entails during the process of rediscovering after a great lost, but overall about self-love.
