The purpose of this graduate work is to unveil the meanings and meanings about the strategies in the comprehension of texts in the teaching performance of secondary education institutions. It is carried out under the interpretative phenomenological approach, a constructionist epistemic plane and a phenomenological-hermeneutic methodological plane, of the qualitative paradigm.Considering that, during the development of the work my person will be as a teaching member of the institution, from the heart of the reality under study where I will identify significant elements of the methodological competences in the managerial and teaching performance for the teaching improvement.
