Bol More than eighty years after his death, this biography commemorates the life and work of Miguel Hernández (1910-1942). We celebrate his life, not only because he was a renowned Spanish poet, but also because he was an extraordinary man. The current edition of José Luis Ferris's comprehensive biography, translated to English By Grant D. Moss, offers up-to-date insights based on recent research as it strives to break down myths about the poet from Orihuela, Spain. It sheds light on the possible muses who may have inspired many of his verses, the poets (and others) who may have secretly despised him, and the circumstances in prison that may have led to his premature death.
