Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Mirafra is a genus of lark in the Alaudidae family. Three of its species are sometimes separated in Calendulauda. Some Mirafra species are called "larks", while others are called "bushlarks". Larks are passerine birds of the family Alaudidae. All species occur in the Old World, and in northern and eastern Australia; only one, the Shore Lark, has spread to North America, where it is called the Horned Lark. Habitats vary widely, but many species live in dry regions.
