A brief description of some of the poems in Miss Universe is the best way to describe it. "Higgs Boson." A homeless man finds the Higgs Boson in a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. "Antimatter Diet." What better diet than one consisting of antimatter particles? "Weak Force." Why is gravity known as the "weak force" when everything falls all the time? "Stargazing." Nothing, even the nothing (not nothing) of space, escapes the fatal, fixed laws of economics. "Miss Universe." The hubris of humans calling an Earth woman the most beautiful woman in the universe when only a few humans have even walked on the moon. "Some Ashes." I wonder why ashes always remain after burning something in a fireplace. Why are ashes eternal, but not me? I want to be made of that stuff! "Anyone on an Exoplanet"? On my smartphone, I call our galaxy to determine if anyone speaks the King's English. The phone is silent, doesn't even vibrate. There's more hilarity, but I hope you purchase Miss Universe and wonder and wander through these oddball, thought-provoking poems! Miss Universe includes 11 original B&W images and 14 poems, and is composed in the unique, home-grown style of all my poetry-"organic naturalism" (poems that are deceptively simple, direct, non-synthetic, non-AI-deformed, non-boring, and often humorous and entertaining). Near the end of this book, there's an image of a bookshelf constructed of six rocks. Titles of each of my poetry books in my series, The Concise Poetry Works of T.N. Turner, are displayed as etched into a rock. Please check out each of these books. Thank you for reading this description of Miss Universe, T.N. Turner
