Missing Pieces

As if being a growing hormonal teenage girl was not hard enough, Samiria Anderson suffers at the hands of people who are powerful and superior to her. Her adolescence is shortened when she is forced to mature faster than she is prepared for. What was familiar to her quickly turned unfamiliar when she and her mother, Melinda, made a big move to Brooklyn, New York from Cairo, Egypt. Her father, Jacobe, stays behind on a military base in Africa for an assignment that he cannot share with them. Sam tries to adjust but struggles with depression and nightmare disorder while trying to find a sense of belonging. Melinda goes on a work trip, but when she does not respond or return, Sam grows concerned. Melinda is considered a missing person. Sam goes through some of Melinda's files after finding a secret room. Sam finds several military files with unknown information. Jacobe is also M.I.A. Sam begins wondering who she can trust being as the adults closest to her have kept multiple secrets from her. As she and her friends investigate to solve the missing pieces of the wicked puzzle, they realize what they are going up against is more sinister than they know. Strange things begin happening, people are disappearing, and Sam always has a feeling that she is being watched. Will Sam find the missing pieces of the puzzle before it is too late?
