Missional Cohesion of African Diaspora in the West: An Afrocentric Model for Black American and Nigerian Immigrant Church Collaboration

The African diaspora is full of diverse cultures and experiences. Thus, diasporic missiologists are presented with the unique challenge of overcoming divisions and bridging worlds. In this groundbreaking study, Dr. Lloyd S. Chinn explores missional integration between Black American and Nigerian immigrant churches in the USA. Bringing together years of missional experience, intensive review of Afrocentric social theory, and field research, Chinn analyzes the dynamics resulting in disassociation between the faith communities and constructs a framework for collaborative mission.
