According to al-Ghazali, the knowledge of those who do not know logic cannot be trusted. Accordingly, following a long tradition of Islamic research, the renowned 19th-century Ottoman scholar Ahmet Cevdet Pasha introduced the classical logic methodology that teaches the correct ways of thinking and the rules behind finding the truth. He dedicated it to his son Sedat.
