The author begins with a fundamental question: To what extent has Arabic literature remained faithful to its civilizational constants, and to what extent has it succumbed to external influences-specifically modernist and Western approaches? In doing so, the author presents a critical, evaluative perspective that seeks to reconnect literature with its authentic roots-not by stifling creative freedom or suppressing intellectual inquiry, but by establishing a balanced relationship between creativity and values.
