Monitoring studies of physical education children and youth

This paper presents the results of a sociological survey of schoolchildren, students and physical education teachers of general education schools in Saratov and Saratov region conducted in 2011-2014. The survey was conducted in accordance with the thematic plan of research and development of the RSUFKSMiT with the thematic plan of R&D for research institutes and universities subordinate to the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation for 2011-2014, direction - 02, "Content and structure of the regional complex system of physical education in the leisure activities of children and youth". The author hopes that the conducted sociological research in Russia, will serve as a stimulus for the activation of discussion of complex and debatable problems on physical education, as well as theoretical and methodological basis for the formation and implementation in practice of the content and structure of the regional complex system of physical education in the leisure activities of children and youth.
