Moon Landings

Moon Landings is a rich and evocative collection that journeys through love, memory, loss, and the restless search for meaning. Moving between the intimate and the expansive, Richard C. W. Palser's poems explore human connection against shifting landscapes - seasonal, emotional, and cosmic. From the dreamlike reach of the title poem to the grounded lyricism of Seasonal Songs, these works weave together the personal and the universal. Relationships flicker and fracture, voices overlap, and moments of tenderness sit alongside disquiet and longing. There is music here, too - echoes of earlier traditions reshaped into something immediate and alive.By turns reflective, surreal, and sharply observant, Moon Landings invites the reader into a world where the ordinary is unsettled, and where even the smallest moment may open onto something vast.
