Moose, Maps & Mixed Signals: A Romantic Comedy: 1

Barrett Leonard came to Dalton with a strategy deck, a polished tourism plan, and the dangerous belief that wildlife could be professionally positioned. Gunnar Lockwood knows better. As Dalton's wilderness guide, Gunnar has one firm rule: moose are not scheduled talent. But when Barrett's carefully worded launch comments become a regional promise of daily moose sightings, Dalton's new Moose Watch Initiative turns into a public relations disaster with binoculars. Now Barrett and Gunnar must work together to save the launch, calm the town, manage tourists, protect the trails, and convince everyone that no, Brenda the moose does not work here. Gunnar thinks Barrett is all branding and no field sense. Barrett thinks Gunnar is impossible, infuriating, and inconveniently competent. But somewhere between flooded trails, town-hall chaos, and one very uncooperative moose, their forced partnership starts looking less like professional damage control and more like something neither man planned for. In Dalton, some encounters cannot be guaranteed. And some are impossible to avoid.
