In contrast to many other manufacturers, who realize a ceiling mounting only with 2 hooks on the ceiling, the SlenderLine projection screen is securely mounted to the ceiling or wall with the help of 4 screws. The direct mounting to the ceiling or wall ensures torsional rigidity and prevents the cabinet from swinging. PROJECTION SCREEN CLOTH: The projection screen cloth of the SlenderLine projector screen consists of 3 layers with fabric core. The fabric weight is 520g/m². The weighting rod ensures an optimal flatness of the fabric. The black coated and therefore opaque backside ensures that no disturbing extraneous light from behind interferes with the projection image. The black masking enhances the contrast impression and also simplifies the alignment of the image on the projection surface. GAIN FACTOR: The gain factor is a characteristic value for the reflection behavior of a projection screen. The screens of the SlenderLine series with a gain factor of 1.2 reflect the light evenly in all spatial directions without the problem of so-called hotspot formation. However, screens with a gain factor of 1.5 and higher produce a bright area in the center of the image due to the reflection of the projector lamp. Another disadvantage is the noticeable decrease in the viewing angle.
