One day he meets a stranger called Mr Darwin who also asks a lot of questions. In return Mr Darwin shows Antonio all the things he has collected on his travels, like his beetle collection. When the tortoises hatch, Antonio gives one to Mr Darwin as a present, so that he always remembers his visit to the Islands and his young friend.
