Muffuletta Night

Contained herein are stories and poems written between 1984 and 2024, chronicling the life and opinions of a flawed guy just trying to make it in the world without too much trouble. Things didn't always go so smoothly. His journey takes him from the streets of North Akron, Ohio, to New Orleans, to Boulder, to Santa Barbara, to Las Vegas, and finally to a small community in Northern California. In Muffuletta Night, the author shares stories, observations, and poems of loves lost and found, minor con artistry, petty crimes, broken relationships, rock and roll hijinks, and a bit of mayhem as he tries to find his place in the world. He explores themes of adolescent coming of age, nostalgia and the passing of time, the effect of changing cultures and mores, simple pleasures, confronting adversity, and the consequences of bad decisions.
