Multi Agent Systems. Theories, Languages and Applications

Constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the 4th Australian Workshop on distributed Artificial Intelligence held in Brisbane, QLD, Australia in July 1998. Among the topics covered are self-interested mobile agents, formal specification of MAS, reinforcement learning, self organization, agent negotiation, and more. This volume contains revisedversions of selected papers presented at the Fourth Australian Workshop on Distributed Arti?cial Intelligence (DAK'91), together with a set of invited papers. Each paper has been reviewed by at least two program committee members. The workshop was held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on July 17,1992. The goalof the workshopwas to promoteresearchin distributed arti?cial intelligence and multi-agent systems, both nationally and internationally.
