Two brothers host a weekend at a quiet country estate with a famous hedge maze. On a sunny afternoon, a shot in the green corridors is followed by a second attack. Witnesses heard metallic clicks and dull thuds in the hedges-clues that make sense only when set in the right order. To reach the truth, the investigator must work out who could enter, strike, and vanish without being seen, and why two targets were chosen.Built as a fair-play puzzle, the case lays out timelines, physical traces, and misdirection with care-inviting the reader to match wits with the detective and walk the maze toward a single, clean solution.
