Murder Under Bridge 19

When eighty-two-year-old Sunny Cruise, ex-world-champion surfer, nightclub owner, and big-time stool pigeon, is found dead under Bridge 19 in Mission Viejo, California, all signs point to murder. Wasn't he supposed to be in the Witness Protection Program? What was he doing back in Orange County? Seriously, Scouts' honor, Sadie Siebert has no intention of being drawn into another murder investigation. The last time she stuck her nose into a homicide, she found herself at the wrong end of a gun. But somehow (big surprise) she ends up in the Cruise investigation, much to the dismay of family and friends. Book Two in the Red Geranium Mystery series is another semi-cozy murder mystery chock-full of quirky characters. Loretta Valentine is a gray-haired senior citizen with a questionable background who lives in an old Dodge van and picks up day-old bread and pastries to deliver to local senior and community centers. The Kahunas are three ex-surfers who are well past AARP's age requirements and meet in the mornings for coffee in a shop overlooking the Huntington Beach Pier. They enjoy critiquing the local surfers and discussing how life was better back in the 1970s. They also have a connection to the murder victim. Reno is a homeless man who lives in CamoTown near Camp Pendleton and is a long-time friend of Loretta Valentine. >This is another fun romp full of surprising twists and turns through present-day Orange County, California, as you try to discover the identity of a killer and why Sunny Cruise was murdered.
