The Lure of gold has been known to turn good men bad and sane men mad. When a beautiful spring hike turns deadly, Murphy suddenly finds himself trapped and lost in the dark recesses of a long-abandoned gold mine. What he discovers there sets him, his cousin Katrina and his dog Hogan on a dangerous and mysterious adventure throughout the streets of Juneau and Douglas and into the labyrinth of tunnels and shafts of the abandoned Alaska Juneau Gold Mine. Pitted against a ruthless gang of thieves that will stop at nothing to get what they want, Murphy and Katrina are forced into a battle of wits and cunning in order to stay one step ahead of the Black-Eyed Man and his gang.
