Exploring in caves fraught with unexpected dangers...rappelling off a steep cliff without any experience...and braving numerous other calamities which he counts toward his 9-lives, here is Dave Huling's tale of adventures in his youth, then in middle age and lastly as an adult.But more than just a story of tight squeezes that he endured, Dave's book is also one full of explorations as an 8 and 9 year old---times of mischief, antics and innocence that was enjoyed as a young boy using his independence allowed by his parents in a small town alongside a river.Later, we see an adult Dave Huling as a teacher/coach sharing funny stories of his times with his students and athletes.And, lastly, again as a teacher/coach working with an apathetic co-worker in his school, that was negligent in his duties, and unfaithful to his principal and school--which leads to extra work, embarrassment and pain to colleagues that have to make up for his deep disregard of his duties.
