Sara, seven months pregnant; Tamila, sunny and caring; Valeria, a precarious journalist; and Betty, a photographer/waitress, are four thirty-year-olds racing towards forty, with variously intertwined lives, who see their "being a woman" change and must deal with the anxieties inherent to romantic feelings and their relationships with men. Each has a big heart and a baggage of suffering that does not prevent them from remaining open to love, friendship, and care for others.
