Jazzy was a happy, much-loved daughter of a single mom. She was also blessed with loving grandparents and an aunt. They were a close family that attended church together every Sunday, followed by dinner. When her mom wasn't working, and Jazzy wasn't in school, they spent their time together, reading, singing, baking cookies, just enjoying being together. Jazzy's grandmother took care of her while her mom worked. She met her every day after school, and they walked home together. One day, they walked into the house after school and found her mother laying on the floor with a bullet hole in her chest. Jazzy's life was about to take a dramatic change, but with the love of family and the help of her best friend, she adjusts and moves on, promising herself that one day she would find out who killed her mom and why.
