My four-legged eyes: The life of a blind man with his guide dogs

For twenty-five years, Javier Vaquero has traveled the world accompanied by three guide dogs: Keo, Foxi and Axel. This book is the story of that shared life.It is not a manual or a technical document. It is a real story written from the inside, with everything that it means to depend on an animal to move through the world with freedom: the learning process, the trust built step by step, the extraordinary and painful moments, and that feeling that only those who have lived it can understand: that when you walk alongside your guide dog you are not a blind person. You flow.My Four-Legged Eyes is written for those who are thinking about taking the step and want to know what to really expect. For those who live with a guide dog user and want to understand their world. For those who love animals and know that the relationship between a human being and their dog can be something that has no easy name in any language. And for anyone who has ever lost someone who occupied a place that no one else can fill.A story about blindness, about freedom, and about three dogs who were much more than a pair of eyes
