Bol This book chronicles the author, Dr. Virupaksh's spiritual journey with his Guru, Sri Sri Prathaparudra Swami. Dr. Virupaksh had known his guru for over 30 years. While the title suggests a personal journey, it actually recounts the experiences of many others who encountered the Swamiji during those years.Swamiji, originally from rural Andhra Pradesh in India, established his Samsari Matah in a remote village in Tumukuru district in Karnataka. Unlike those educated in the intellectual sphere, Swamiji's interactions with his disciples were practical and somewhat objective. However, as a mystic, he spoke in riddles and played his part based on the devotion and intentions of his devotees. This book includes not only the author's experiences but also those of others who closely interacted with him.Currently, the Matah and temple are managed by Swamiji's family. His granddaughter and her husband oversee the daily operations, supported by devotees and well-wishers. The proceeds from the sale of this book will also be used for the upkeep of the temple. The author's intention in writing this book is to introduce this mystical guru whose golden touch left a lasting impact on their devoted followers. The original book was written in Kannada with the assistance of Mr and Mrs Kulkarni. Prathima Dayanidhi has translated the English version.
