My Nana Says the Strangest Things

My Nana Says the Strangest Things Cat got your tongue? Hold your horses! Don't have a cow! Every time a little boy visits his Nana, she says the funniest things. The trouble is, he takes them all literally. Is there really a grasshopper to measure up against? A cat hiding somewhere with his tongue? A thinking cap he's supposed to find? From morning hello to "sleep tight," join one curious boy and his loving Nana through a day full of giggles, head-scratching, and the wonderfully silly world of old-fashioned sayings. A warm, gentle picture book for ages 2 to 8, My Nana Says the Strangest Things celebrates the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren, and the funny expressions that get passed down through the generations. A snuggly bedtime read-aloud for little ones and a giggly first reader as they grow. A heartfelt tribute to Nanas everywhere.
