My Side of the Story

One town, many stories, and a summer of change they'll never forget. When the Kendrick family moves to the quiet town of Maple Ridge, life shifts for everyone - old residents and new arrivals alike. For Maya, it means saying goodbye to the life she knew and facing the uncertainty of starting over. For Annie, her best friend's departure and a surprise new housemate from overseas bring emotional highs and lows she didn't expect. And for Jax, local skatepark king and reluctant student, the arrival of new neighbours might just be the spark he needs to see his world differently. Told through multiple perspectives, My Side of the Story weaves together the stories of teenagers navigating friendship, family, identity, and growing pains in a close-knit town full of heart. As their paths cross, collide, and connect, each must find the courage to be seen - and to see others more clearly. A heart-warming, often hilarious, and sometimes heartbreaking story of community, identity, and growing up.
