My Teen's Body and Sex Ed

For many parents, sex remains a taboo topic that is difficult to discuss with their children. This raises an important question: what should a practical, trustworthy book on teen sexual education actually contain? This guide offers a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to bridge that communication gap. It begins by helping youth understand their natural desires, framing the profound connection between men and women as part of God's design for human completeness. It also equips teens with the foundational knowledge about healthy intimacy that many parents wish they themselves had learned. Importantly, the book provides clear warnings about the risks of illicit sex and sexually transmitted diseases, drawing on culturally resonant sayings, slogans, and AIDS prevention literature from Cameroon's Ministry of Health. Beyond physical health and biology, it empowers teens to grow into responsible adults by encouraging them to be the "CEOs of their own lives"-teaching them to accept people as they are, but to hire, fire, and promote within their personal lives accordingly. Finally, the book directly answers teens' most pressing questions-paying special attention to the unique needs of girls-and guides parents on how to actively support their children as they navigate the modern complexities of online dating.
