My Years with the Automobile: Ordeals and Glories in a Quarter Century

A story of an 'Automobile man' who had been busy himself with automobile business, running at the global stages from East to West, USA, China, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Romania, India, Thailand, Iran, Egypt, Lybia..for about a quarter century from 1995 to 2020. Starting from selling cars in Hongkong, accumulated abundant experience of car sales, export, developing overseas CKD projects, and also led Supply chain and Logistic operation at General Motors. Then his position changed to supplier to sell automotive parts to major OEM companies mainly in USA and China. After the retirement, also had a chance to look at electric vehicle business as an adviser, and briefly involved in a Chinese company to seek its distributor in Korea. While experiencing both upstream and downstream of the automobile business, he had gone through number of failures and setbacks, but sometimes had a good time to enjoy great success. Looking back at his years with automobile for a quarter century, he is sharing his insight he got throughout good and bad times of his business life, Heavenly Timing, Earthly Advantage and People Harmony. He is sending his heartfelt thanks to the people he met and interacted with at various scenes in number of countries. He concludes this book by saying, "without them who understood and supported me, I was not able to come this far."
