This thesis abstract summarizes a study conducted on a sample of farmed teleosts. A total of 11 species of parasites, known as myxosporidia, were identified. This group of organisms is responsible for several diseases in fish, leading to epizootics that cause enormous economic losses. Therefore, every fish farmer should be well-versed not only in technical issues but also, and above all, in those related to parasitism in the hosts. This will help improve fish farming yields and thus contribute to the fight against poverty.
