It explores the legacies of the Pacific writing and travels of Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, investigating the relevance of his work to contemporary readers and communities in Hawai¿i, S¿moa, and Scotland. The book presents the novella "The Beach of Fales¿", and the two novelettes "The Bottle Imp" and "The Isle of Voices", along with an introduction by Michelle Keown and the original nineteenth-century illustrations from the first edition.
