It is named after the great scholar Acharya Nagarjuna who was a Buddhist monk (150-250CE) born near Nagarjunakonda. This is one of the historical schools in warangal. It has also been the active part of WADUPSA {Warangal schools assosciation.} It is linked to many other schools like Ketan convent, Indian high school, bharatiya high school, oasis high school etc. The Head Master of this school is sincere, hard working, and sombre in manner. It is highly technologised with cc cameras, mikeset and many others and gives stiff competition to other schools in warangal.Through WADUPSA it has done a lot of good deeds for the students in warangal. It has organized a programme named "sparkle" by the famous magician and psychiartist Dr.B.V Pattabhiram for the 10th class students of 2008 batch.
