De olie zorgt ervoor dat het overmatig vet en talgproductie onder controle brengt. Wortelzaad olie is rijk aan beta caroteen, een anti-oxidant die huidveroudering reduceert en onzuiverheden vermindert. De poly hydroxy acid (PHA) en beta-lipohydroxy acid (LHA) verwijdert dode huidcellen en verbetert de huid structuur. De olie lost makkelijk op als het met warm water vermengt bij het afspoelen en laat geen plakkerige resten achter. De huid wordt na reiniging glad en zacht.
