New Shoots

"New Shoots" brings together a collection of images shot by internationally acclaimed flower and garden photographer, Clive Nichols. Comprising his best and most recent work, this collection offers numerous of plants, gardens and the natural world. With an appreciation of light, pattern, colour, form and texture, Nichols seeks to metamorphose contemporary studies of flower and foliage into challenging, sometimes abstract, yet frequently humorous art forms. It is being re-published (it originally appeared in Autumn, 2000) to coincide with the launch of various items of merchandise under the "New Shoots" logo and incorporating Clive Nichols' images. Throughout the book, Clive Nichols' images are complemented by Lance Hattatt's thought-provoking text.
