Newspaper House

In 2009, journalist Neve Sanderson moved into Brisbane's historic Newspaper House, expecting a fresh start. Instead, she was sent back in time ... to 1943.A city at war. A murder long buried.Discovering an old unsolved murder in her new apartment building was something Neve just couldn't resist. She loved a challenge. But how does one even begin to solve a sixty-year-old murder mystery when all those involved are dead and buried? That question was answered when she stepped from the elevator onto the seventh floor and found she had travelled back in time to 1943.With the help of her friends: Sally, a cadet journalist and part-time waitress, Peter, Neve's ex-flame and now a successful neuroscientist, and Adam, the most obnoxious, irritating man she'd ever met, they uncover one of Brisbane's darkest wartime secrets. As they slowly untangle a tale of corporate greed and corruption, the body count rises, throwing Neve into a race against time.To find justice for the ever-growing list of victims, and to save the lives of those she loves, she must move fast. If Neve can gather the evidence needed, she might even have the front-page story she's been waiting for.
