This English edition of Goma Kubi Shidai (The Short Sequence of the Homa) follows the Nishino-in ryu tradition, in which this ritual manual is used as part of the advanced stages of practice. Because it is intended for practitioners who have already reached a certain level of training, many passages are deliberately abbreviated, and repeated sections are indicated only by their titles without full repetition of text.
