Een nieuwe Suzi Quatro plaat, de eerste in acht jaar tijd! De Amerikaanse rock zangeres is al meer dan 50 jaar bezig en bekend van hits als Can The Can and Devil Gate Drive. Van ophouden is bij Suzi absoluut geen sprake: “I’ll retire when I go onstage, shake my ass, and there is silence” zegt ze, wetende dat dit nog lang niet gaat gebeuren. Op No Control staan elf nieuwe Suzi Quatro nummers, plus twee bonus nummers. De meerderheid van de songs schreef ze samen met haar zoon Richard Tuckey: “This was our first attempt at writing and recording something together. The creative progress began with ‘Don’t Do Me Wrong’. And, through this unusually beautiful English summer of 2018, we sat outside, acoustic bass, acoustic guitar, iPad recording app, and lots of paper, throwing ideas back and forth.” Gemasterd door Christian Wright, Abbey Road Studios UK.
