NO STUDENT IS ACADEMICALLY POOR

"In this world, no human being is useless, and no one is born unintelligent. No student is truly academically poor. It is merely environment and difficult circumstances that cause trouble in school." When young Kobina Yeful abandoned his classroom in the village of Abodo for the thrill of hunting grasscutters and tracking wild game, his teachers wrote him off as a hopeless truant. Traumatised by a harsh educator's cane and left without paternal guidance, he seemed destined to become another statistical dropout. But behind his stubborn defiance lay a brilliant mind waiting for the right soil in which to grow. From the rustic farmlands of Jukwa to the historic, ocean-facing gates of the Government Boys School in Oguaa, Kobina's journey is a gripping testament to the resilience of the human spirit. It explores a boy's painful academic demotions, intense family rifts over career choices, and ultimate triumph as an elite university graduate and respected public official. More than just a personal memoir, No Student is Academically Poor is a revolutionary educational guide. Blending vivid storytelling with profound scriptural truths, author Maxwell Kobina Acquah exposes how fear, trauma, and structural barriers suppress a child's intellect-and how empathy, structured discipline, and intentional mentorship can unlock it. >Published by Yefulkay For speaking engagement, counseling, and outreach programmes contact the author through: P.
