Nonna, the Keeper of Hundred Dollar Note

What if the hundred-dollar note was quietly disappearing? At first, Nonna thinks it is just bad luck. One supermarket says they don't have a $100 note. Then another. And another.Soon cashiers begin reacting as though she has asked for a live dinosaur, an endangered animal or a mythical creature rarely seen in the wild.Concerned that Australia's largest banknote may be heading towards extinction, Nonna decides somebody needs to do something.Fortunately, she already has a plan.Every fortnight she withdraws a single crisp hundred-dollar note and carefully places it into a photo album.Simple.Practical.Entirely sensible. At least to Nonna. Not everyone agrees.Friends suspect she is building a secret fortune.Neighbours wonder whether she has become a financial genius.Cashiers begin tracking rare sightings.Children try drawing what they think a hundred-dollar note looks like. One even mistakes it for a giant egg.Meanwhile, Nonna quietly continues her mission. But the photo albums soon become about much more than money. Each note reminds her of family.Of memories.Of moments worth preserving.Of the people she loves.Filled with gentle Australian humour, charming illustrations and warm-hearted observations about modern life, Nonna, The Keeper of the Hundred-Dollar Note celebrates the value of family, the joy of simple traditions and the surprising things we choose to save.Because sometimes the most valuable things are not the notes themselves. It's the memories attached to them.Perfect for readers who enjoy light-hearted humour, family stories, Australian nostalgia and books that leave you smiling long after the final page.
