Notes from the Mountaintop

An architect at the top of his field revels in all his material success. Despite this he is plagued by an unknown trauma that sends him into waves of distress. He makes many efforts to try and cease the calling of the void. Trying his hand at teaching, mentoring and loving. Hoping that he may build a legacy that stands the test of time and challenges nature itself. Follow our narrator and see if he may escape the ever-present gnawing. Will his magnum opus fulfill his dreams of a lasting legacy or perhaps his new apprentice can expand his triumphs. Even still maybe what he longs for is something more base and mundane. Can he work his way into the light... or will he be consumed by darkness. "We would build something so astounding it would rival the very mountains..."
