OCCURRENCE OF DEFECTS IN GARMENT MANUFACTURING AND METHODS FOR THEIR ELIMINATION

Modern industrial production is designed to produce clothes only for figures of typical physique with moderate muscular development, weak, moderate or abundant fat deposition, normal shoulder height and average (normal curves) of the dorsal contour of the torso (posture). In this case, only one third of the total adult population can be provided with industrially produced clothing with a good quality fit. When assessing the quality of products, first of all, in the sample model of clothing identify possible defects. Defects in clothing in clothing arise for various reasons and are externally revealed in the form of tension, wrinkles, distortions, unnecessary folds, loss of balance of the product as a whole and its individual parts, ie in violation of the quality of fit of clothing on the human figure. For the convenience of recognition and elimination of clothing defects their classification is developed, in which three groups of defects are distinguished: constructive, technological and modeling defects.
