Ocean Law and Policy of the People's Republic China

This book systematically reviews the theory and practice in ocean policy and legal system since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, which is of great significance for China to speed up the construction of a maritime power and safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests. Through this book, the international community can further understand China’s specific practice and achievements in developing and improving China's ocean law system by applying the principles and systems of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
