OFF LIMITS

In the mountains of North Vietnam, a Japanese wartime treasure was buried, then stolen. In the back rooms of Bangkok, deals were struck and old scores were set in motion. Now the last pieces of that conspiracy are closing in on the most secretive installation in America. In the summer of 1968, thirteen-year-old Tommy Sullivan arrives at Camp Peary, the CIA's secret training base known as "The Farm." To Tommy and his new friends, the place is pure freedom: endless woods, forbidden zones, and the kind of trouble that only boys on a closed military base can find. As Tommy and his friends push deeper into places they were never meant to see, their small rebellions begin to cross paths with men who have been playing a far more dangerous game for decades. What starts as another summer of mischief becomes a collision between childhood adventure and the kind of adult betrayal that leaves bodies in its wake. OFF LIMITS is a coming-of-age thriller that moves from the jungles of Southeast Asia to the hidden world of Camp Peary, where boyhood freedom and deadly secrets collide overnight. Inspired by actual events from a childhood spent moving between embassies, secret bases, and far-flung places, OFF LIMITS blends adventure, danger, and humor while blurring the line between Tommy's memory and imagination.
