Online Collaboration in Creative Teaching and Writing for French as a Foreign Language

Slam4coinsdumonde.com is a website designed for FLE/FLS teachers who are curious about the creativity inherent in language and who wish to transform this interest into a professional skill to integrate into their teaching practice. Indeed, the site is the culmination of a process aimed at developing slam poetry workshops for FLE/FLS classes, which is detailed in the first part of this thesis. It also includes a discussion of the role of creative writing in French universities, a conceptual framework for understanding creativity as the ability to create in the broadest sense, and an exploration of its benefits in language classrooms, before examining how slam workshops were analyzed and redesigned for integration into FLE classrooms. To integrate these workshops, adapted for FLE learners, into classroom practice, it was also necessary to offer training to teachers who wish to conduct them. On the website, this aspect is developed through practical advice, drawn from years of experience facilitating writing workshops, so that teachers can incorporate creative teaching as an additional skill.
