Only Food & Booze: the truth about industry that feeds you

After nearly 40 years in the hospitality industry in Australia and overseas I felt it was time to write about the good and the bad the industry has to offer. The industry has in parts changed for the better but in an era when people are struggling and money is tight it's a good time to remember how hard our hospitality people work. Hospitality is an industry of great passion and soul and while it can be hard it has given me some of my fondest memories. This book goes through every aspect of the industry in short easy to read chapters and talks about everything from chefs to waiters, to locations and the realities of what is a brutal business. It's a warts and all journey through nearly 40 years and I hope those in the industry and out of it can find a chapter or two in it that they can empathise with and just simply enjoy. I am nothing if not honest and this book is me in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy it.
