Operation Matzah

Operation Matzah is a heartwarming adventure set in the snowy northern town of Churchill, Manitoba-where polar bears roam, beluga whales gather, and the Northern Lights dance across the sky. When sisters Sara and Aviya prepare for their first Passover in the North, they discover something is missing: matzah! With the nearest city thousands of miles away, their friend Benny sets off on an important mission to send it in time for the Seder. What follows is an extraordinary journey across frozen landscapes-by train, sled dogs, a brave polar bear, and even ravens-each playing a part in delivering the precious box. This beautifully told story celebrates kindness, teamwork, and the power of community. Operation Matzah reminds readers that even in the most remote places, traditions can be carried forward through the helping hands (and paws and wings!) of others.Perfect for families, this inspiring tale brings together adventure, culture, and the magic of connection.
