The Ortovox Probe Alu 320+ is a long, sturdy avalanche probe for experienced ski tourers, mountain guides and rescue professionals who value reliability over minimum weight. Its 320 cm construction is made from rigid 7075 Alu T6 and weighs 400 grams. The PFA quick-assembly system allows rapid deployment, while the replaceable steel cable maintains dependable tension throughout the probe. Depth markings, the visual guide system and the large replaceable probe tip support accurate probing in deep snow. The probe can also be extended and is certified to the UIAA 157 standard for professional avalanche rescue operations.
