In 1947 a strange craft crashes in Roswell, New Mexico. At the same time, odd events begin to happen in the Bermuda Triangle. In 2016, eleven year old Abby Mortenson and her family along with a family friend set out from Miami on a trip to Baltimore on her family's pleasure boat. Incredible events cause them to become stranded on an uninhabited island. Desperate to find a way home, Abby is willing to try anything to help her family get rescued. That's when an encounter happens that Abby is sworn to keep secret. Abby learns that the island may be uninhabited but it was being visited. On Fancy Bluff Creek, off the Georgia Coast and the Golden Isles, eleven-year-old Levi Benjamin along with his cat, are on the end of his dock throwing his casting net. He sees a bottle drifting towards his dock. It contains a handwritten, water soaked note. Three young friends separated by hundreds of miles, use their individual skills and intelligence to become the most amazing rescuers of all time. In the process they learn that friendship has no boundaries as they hide the answer to one of mankind's greatest questions, "Are we alone in the universe?"
