About the Author Erika DeSanty is a passionate family member and was inspired to bring her book, Outside Is the Place to Go, to life because of her own child's sense of imagination. Like most parents, Erika began making up stories and songs to engage and soothe her firstborn. Outside Is the Place to Go was created by accident in one of those parenting moments. After witnessing the joy this poem brought to her child, she was moved to publish so that more parents could enjoy reading and singing along with their children.
