Padrone: War Horses of Heaven

I am Padrone, war horse of the Most High. I have been sent to earth to assist a peaceful nation named Baltric being attacked by an aggressive neighbor, Tiernan. It has been a long and brutal struggle. Their rag-tag army is near defeat, crops have been burned, and farmers killed. Worst, their king, wounded in battle, lies dying with no heir to take the throne. The people, desperate for help, have turned their hearts back towards a god they had almost forgotten; the god of their fathers; a god called Yahweh. And He responded.My mission is to find a young servant. He is dirty, humble, and of no repute. He is a diamond in the rough. He is to be their next king. How am I to accomplish this, stripped of immortality and the ability to communicate? Only Yahweh knows.
